Pelvic Health & Performance

The pelvis plays a central role in how the body moves, balances, breathes, and produces force. When pelvic motion becomes limited or inefficient, the body often compensates elsewhere, potentially contributing to hip pain, back pain, movement restrictions, performance limitations, and a variety of pelvic health concerns. The pelvis is a key link between the trunk and lower extremities. Optimizing pelvic function often improves how force is transferred through the entire body, allowing movement to become more efficient and less stressful.

Common conditions we treat:

  • Pelvic pain

  • Hip pain

  • Sacroiliac (SI) joint pain

  • Chronic low back pain

  • Movement and mobility limitations

  • Pregnancy-related pelvic discomfort

  • Postpartum recovery

  • Athletic performance limitations

  • Gait and walking dysfunction

  • Recurrent injuries related to movement compensations

How we help:

We assess how the pelvis interacts with the ribcage, spine, hips, and lower extremities to identify movement restrictions, asymmetries, and compensatory strategies that may be contributing to pain or decreased performance. Our approach focuses on restoring pelvic mobility and relative motion while improving the body's ability to effectively shift, rotate, absorb force, and produce force.

Treatment may include mobility work, breathing and positional strategies, strength training, movement retraining, gait analysis, and sport-specific interventions depending on your goals. Whether you're an athlete looking to improve performance, a mother navigating pregnancy and postpartum recovery, or someone seeking lasting relief from pain, our goal is to help you move more efficiently and function at your highest level.
